Starting a Prayer Team

Frontiers workers Eric and Stephanie have a faithful team of supporters back home who gather regularly to pray for their ministry.

Recently, Eric began discipling a Muslim man who was close to entering the KingdomThen his wife fell deathly ill. Stephanie wrote for more prayer support, and through a concerted prayer effort that spanned the globe, the woman was healed. Immediately, the Muslim couple recognized that Jesus Christ had healed her, and they both decided to follow Him.

Prayer crosses oceans and moves mountains. It offers those who remain home an exciting way to be a part of overseas ministries. And it’s also critically important, as workers’ success and longevity on the field depend on it.

One of the best ways to support a worker is by joining or starting a monthly prayer team. Regular times of corporate prayer will bear far more fruit in your worker’s life and ministry than you can think or imagine!

Does your worker have a prayer team you can join? If not, who can you invite to start praying with you for their ministry?
